Hi there, I'm Nicol ^^
This blog is a place for me to practice my Korean writing, and also give updates about random things. I'm still learning so if there are mistakes, I apologize! You're welcomed to leave corrections in the comments of posts, I'm grateful for your help ^^
Hmm.. what to say.. I'm a girl who is in love with music and technology
Random facts:
- I play a variety of instruments (not pro of course).. which include the piano, guitar and bass.
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science
- I'm uber short (5 ft / 152 cm)
- I taught myself how to read Hangul (Korean alphabet) when I was in grade 10, and have been self-learning Korean (half-ass'dly) since then until this year. Then I had a tutor for a while, and now I'm doing some language-exchange with Korean students learning English.
- Chinese, born in 1987 in Malaysia and have been living in Canada since I was 5
My likes include:
- Music!!
- Singing and composing songs and instrumental music.
- Korean culture, language and music, as well as the equivalent in Japan.
- Languages and different cultures in general
- Anime (watching, drawing, reading manga)
- New technology
- World history (particularly Roman and Genghis Khan eras)
- Greek mythology
Actually, I'm interested in a lot of things, but I guess those are the main ones..
